The name of our institute is GLOBAL INFORMATIC SYSTEMS (GIS). Established on 2nd September 1999, it is running successfully for the last ten (10) years in the town of Burdwan, catering quality computer education to the students and youths. Quite a large number of students have already passed out after having good knowledge in their respective fields of computer education. Most of them are now established in different occupations. Different types of students are now coming for learning 100% job oriented computer courses. A large number of students also come to learn their syllabus oriented computer courses. They include university students M. Sc. Physics, Statistics, M.Com (Commerce), BLIS, MLIS, MCA, engineering students (B.E., B.Tech, Diploma), graduate students and specially B.Com (Hons. & Pass), BCA, BBA, Class-XI, C lass-XII students. Some years back, when computers were introduced in banks, government offices and other institutions, many officials from these institutions used to come to learn have computer knowledge related to their office work. Even today, the flow of such officials coming for learning official work through computers has not totally stopped. Housewives are also coming for having some knowledge about computer. We also conduct a kid’s programme covering school-based computer courses.
